Just installed it on my automatic LX and it looks good. I got the K060760 Belt and it is one rib short and I'm kinda worried it might slip or something...that's my main concern right now. I didn't get a chance to drive it around yet but I could feel better throttle response for sure. You wont notice HP gains if you have intake and exhaust but I'm sure they're there. I only drove for 3 minutes with the pulleys so I'll post something up later on.

how fast power output respond to your gas pedal. If you step on it hard, the car responds quicker and better instead of that lag that exists. Pulleys makes that lag gap closer.

yeah it does go up quicker (the car naturally shifts around 3.5k - 4k) and also there's more power when you accelerate. The car is least likely to downshift now if you need to speed up which makes driving a lot smoother.

yeah sorry I didn't make myself clear lol. Let's say I'm going 35 mph and I want to hit 40mph to keep up with traffic on the street. Before, my car would have to down shift, catch up to 40 then shift again and it's just jerky and probably waste of gas if the transmission is just going to go through all that for that extra 5mph. The car still does that but much less. Instead it stays in that gear and pulls my car to 40 probably faster than it downshifting... Auto tranny kinda makes me frustrated sometime lol.

Hah, I just got home and did one. And that was get on the 8th. lol so I know what you mean...
How did the install go for you? And about the belt, don't worry about it bro. The one that does fit perfectly is a belt that was discontinued. You wont find that anywhere, or atleast I couldn't. But the one you have which we all have, (If you have the pulleys), is fine. I check mine everyonce and a while and noticed no problems. |

install was done by a mechanic at a local shop for like 50 bucks and I asked if I could stay and watch. It seems relatively simple, but I think it would be a lot easier if I had a lift and a 10 ft breaker bar he used to break the crank bolt off.
