+1 Based on this thread this is not what I would consider an "easy install".

I got it man.. Ive just never messed with manifolds and coolant before. Ive done headers, cat backs, ecu upgrades and other pretty easy mods.. I was just curious.. Plus my friend is guna be there to help me.. He works at a local mechanic shop called Vic's Auto.. But yea I am good with tools I just never drained a radiator before..lol I know its lame...

Best of luck to ya! I'm gonna be attempting this along with the TB spacer and coolant bypass next weekend. To be honest this (IMG) has me intimidated. I've done haders, intakes, pulleys before (other cars). I must admit the SI is not the easiest car to work on, mainly due to the ultra-cramped engine compartment.

when u drain it make sure when u put it back, you tight it on the mark.

i wouldn't let some garage do it it for me unelss im getting some other things done...

I would say $200 at the very least. probably $300

The bolts under the manifold were actually one of the easier things to do. The bracket supporting the manifold was a royal pain to get unbolted, and bolt back on.. however, there is a better way of doing it.

The biggest PITA IMO was actually the hose clamp under the manifold, and getting the manifold itself off.

it will lower your intake temp..

^it works very well on the comptech charger too, i can tell a difference in how hot the charger is but not in performance..boo

The hose clamp under the manifold came off easy for me (used curved plyers to push clamp further down hose, then used a large flat head to carefully push a little corner of the each side of the hose off the connector) it pulled right off. Taking the damn manifold out was the tricky part, it will rub and get stuck on the left side. There is wire connected to the bracket supporting the manifold that took me forever to figure out how to pull off because I didn't want to break it (don't push tab, but pull tab outward then push the connector up). The bottom nut can then be reached pretty easy with an extension. Good luck man

I just did mine 2 weeks ago and i really dont notice the diff. only when i first start my car and run for about 15 min do i feel any thing but after that it just runs normal. alot of the stuff to take the IM is not necessary but oh well do what you want!

Im installing the p2r tb spacer, tb gasket, and IMG (hopefully this week) and will post if I feel much of a difference on the manifold temp and drivabiltiy.

i bought the CorSport Intake Manifold Heat Gasket guessing it should be same as hondata just a little cheaper right ? i also bought the img, p2r spacer , 2 tb gaskets for the spacer , injen cai , and twm shifter
