for mine i only have the screws holding it in place, the bolts are just in the factory location and the cover wear they would go covers them, it stays snug so try that. havent had a prob with it and had it for a good 300 miles or so. with aggressive and easy driving in there.

What part/s did you order exactly? there are two parts listed in japanparts.

Is the COVER ASSY. ENGINE WIRE HARNESS(US $17.18) only or do I need to order the BOLT HEAD COVER ($11.34) too?

EASY mod, looks great.

1. Get your JDM engine cover japanparts.com : PARTS DATABASE

and pop your hood.

2. Remove the two flathead screws (circled) until they won't unscrew anymore (it'll make sense when you do it - they're a weird kind of screw) You can take the old cover off at this time.

3. Using the 10mm socket wrench, Remove the 2 bolts circled (covered by the new cover in the picture....you'll find them, especially if you try putting the new cover on.)

For steps 2 & 3:

The finished product:

Enjoy!!!
quick question, this should fit a FG1 right? also did you have to get the bolt head cover as well?
