It's very simple.
-Find the two hose's on the TB and follow where they connect to.

-Remove just one hose completely.

-With the one still left on, Remove the end on the TB and route that line (while still connected to the engine) to the other port on the engine. (Where you removed the previous hose from).

-With the one you have left over it, modify it or whatever and connect the two ports on the TB together.

So basically you are just connecting the two engine ports together with one of the hose's, and the TB with the other.

I was going to do this today, but my buddy who was helping me with my IMG was saying that if the EGR is running into the TB that the coolant may be needed to cool the hot exhaust gases coming in. So, does the EGR run into the TB? It doesn't look like it does in the manual...

We do not have an EGR. Instead, there is a block off plate near where the upper radiator hose connects to the block.

well if u cap it how is the water going 2 evaporate? its just going 2 turn into a gass then turn back into a liquid when it gets colled off then back into a gas. there is really no need at all 2 flush it, because it is just a pasage way around the TB for colant to flow into around and back out. thats all it is. so flushing it is kinda pointless but if you do flush it with watter just take an air gun or caned air(if u don't have a compresser) and blow it out 2 dry up the watter and blow it all outa there befor u cap it.

No. it is totally optional. I just capped them to keep potential crap out of the throttle body in case I revert back to the way it was. And yes, this is a stupidly simple mod. to drop the temp. at the T/B.

i've asked this before but i'm not sure if i asked the question. I live somewhat close to the desert but work in the desert, is this mod a good idea... we also get some snow, not a large amount but it does get below the freezing level, my car is garaged but i still want to be cautious before i attempt this mod

Took all of five minutes for me too, but after one minute of having the hose disconnected of the black pipe, coolant started gushing out of it. Hehe, needless to say my gf is on her way to pick up some more =). Prolly common sense, but do it when your engine is cold =)

Thank You!

I felt like we were missing a picture and it was hard to tell what to do after blocking the TB nipples but you made it really easy without pictures.

If you meant, does it work the same, then yes.

That's what I did, I just used and trimmed the stock hoses and reused them instead. No point buying more hose.
