If it's your first time doing it, 3 to 4 hours. The process is just lengthy because you're figuring out what to remove for the first time and so on. Once you're done the installation, you'll probably think it could be done in 1hour and 15 minutes or something.

I say 1.5 hours tops then. I mean it's just removing the old airbox and putting in the CAI.

I had 9, no bolts, but theres no hole for the vibra mount (I have an FA5) but its all good, I'm just gonna shove some 2 sided tape where the intake touches and I should be fine... no cutting involved here, just carefully sliding it in...

The hole for the vibramount was an existing screw hole that held the resonator box in place..... and I wasnt gonna cut at first but I wanted my intake backed off anything metal.... I had an injen on my old 03 Tiburon GT and it rubbed a hole in it... if its the double sided mounting tape ( foam core ) it will wear down over time. Just double check for the screw pnt for the vibramount!

Well I just did my Injen CAI install today. Pretty painless for the most part, did have to cut a bit more plastic than I expected. That probably has to do with the fact that I have the Sedan and not the Coupe... perhaps slightly different dimensions. Anyone else have this issue?
Also, with regards to the clamps not fitting, Injen supplies braided hoses with the intake to replace the stock hoses, which were not braided. In the installation instructions, it says only to clamp the one hose that runs coolant to the TB, but it doesn't say anything about clamping the other two that connect to the intake itself. I didn't clamp those two and all seems fine.
All in all a great mod! Love the sound, and the car definitely has more kick at upper altitude now (I live at 8000 ft). I can't wait to drive into the city and see how she runs at 6000 ft!

Is your battery "+" cable in the way? Mine was in the way after I finished my install... I could feel it when I tried to shift into 1st or 3rd gears. Moved it, and no more problem. I know you said nothing is in the way but you should be able to shift into 5th at a stop.
