Has any one tried the denso fp. I think it flows 280. Its for the supra but other makes are using it. Just wondering if any 8th has tried it?

I'm running with it. I'm running find. Need to modify the fuel case because is wider and longer than the OEM.

Here are some images of the Denso fuel pump installed

Please, bear in mind that I installed this pump because I changed to a fuel return line system with -6AN lines. The OEM pump was not enough with the new system.

Okay question im getting ready to install my jrsc and I dont have to crush the fpr and the kit comes with 650cc injectors. So is that saying that my injectors are are tuned to be running on a lower percentage or what ?

You can order one from your local dealer. Its needed because the pump won't seal properly in the assembly without a larger oring. you'll have fuel blowing past it and your fuel pressure will be lower.

Would I need to retune after installing this? I've had mine sitting around for a while and figured I'd need to retune afterwards so I've been putting it off.

ok,I read a few pages and figured since it was'nt mentioned I'd ask, what is the higher HP rating the stock pump is good for?Would a full bolt-on N/A engine need a larger pump or wold stock handle it? I'd hope the stock one is good to at least 300WHP,boosted or not.

its not a horsepower rating per say but it seems like the stock pump tends to not last very long with in injectors over 370cc. If in doubt upgrade it, its cheap insurance.

how are people getting the white plastic piece that holds the pump in place back on with the new fuel pump? the one with three clips directly beneath the rubber insulator part of the pump? the oem one has the same body dimensions, however the head of the pump is recessed in a little bit and the walbro is not, therefore it is near impossible to get the white plastic piece (clip) back beneath the fuel pump.

pro civic says you must have a return fuel system for this pump, is it true?

the DIY shows you how to trim the rubber insulator so that the white plastic piece will clip back on.

Don't get the install kit, you won't need it

You definitely don't need a return line for this pump.

itzmill-you might want to get on a jrsc thread, i don't know the answer.
