It's very doubtful you would be able to tell the differences from a butt dyno. Your power will always fluctuate depending on the weather conditions. It probably won't to an extent where the differences are day and night.

Talking Fujita Intake

I just got mine yesterday waiting for my day off work to install it. I went to a Car Sport Show and spoke with both reps from Injen and Fujita. I asked each which is better between the two and honestly I went with the most convincing rep and the one who did waste time talking trash about the other instead of talking about the product. So I went with FUJITA!!! FTW!
*If I follow this DIY I shouldn't have a problem I'll let ya know how it sounds....Can't Wait

Thumbs up Fujita CAI

Installed and and very VERY happy!!..I have a Greddy TI-C exhaust and Fujita Intake and it sounds very nice...I had a few problems removing the old box but other than that it was done in about about an hour to hour 1/2. I recommend it

i custom built a cai and it draws air from under the car (behind the airdam) and the filter sticks out about 2" from the bottom of the car. is there any disadvantage to this? the sound is especially loud because it bounces off the pavement.

Its actually sticking below the car where the filter would be exposed?

Well yeah, you are more prone to hydrolocking your motor but even then your chances of that are relatively low. Besides that and maybe bottoming out and damaging the filter/piping you should be fine.

okay so i have another problem now. i installed the CAI and now my car shakes more than before. After i installed it i did the 15 minute idle thing but i guess i was impatient and only idled it for 10 minute after i installed it. But now i idle my car for 15 minutes and it still doesnt help. is it suppose to cause your car to shake more than the stock intake?

I would re-do the reset. And did you also remove the negative on your battery first? That's how you reset your ECU.

lol I figured you missed that important step...

- Just remove the negative. I've heard people say have it off for atleast 5 min. but I'm not sure if that's even important. But I did it anyway, so you should too.

- Then install the negative back onto the battery.

- Make sure you have your lock code for your radio If you want to use that again. Should be in your glove compartment somewhere.

- Then let the car idle for 15 minutes

- And that should be it. I haven't done this in a while but that should be it.

i did the procedure before i read this again and ionly disconnected it for 1 minute and still idles funny. my car would be idling and it would seem to appear that the shaking gets less and less from when i first start the car to until its steady idling at 670 RPM (reported from my scangauge) and it would start to shake more again. ahhh i guess ill try the 5 minute thing tomarrow
