I would highly recommedn using the OEM harness to trigger a Relay and drawthe juice straight from the battery with and inline fues on the positive. I did it this way, you will prevent uncessary load on the factory wiring harness and avoid blown fuse's and harness burnouts which is very ver unsafe. These bad boys draw a lot of current and will easily brun you OE harness.
Just an advice.... J |

i want to change out the horn but i was wondering if can leave on the stock horn and at the same time hook up the bad boy since its through a relay. is it a space issue? The reason why i am wondering is if i ever need to find my car in a parking lot, the air horn wont spin fast enough to make a loud enough sound? idk? thanks in advance

Re: DIY - Replace your factory horn with 118db "Bad Boy" (39 pics)
I just had this installed and it works great! My friend used a different Honda plug so as to not having to cut into the oem wiring.

Hey
Hey I just did this now my horn sounds powerful and fierce like a giraffe or wallaby, unfortunately while the bumper was being removed I discovered so many problems, the previous owner had taken the bumper off before to install fog lights and a CAI doing so he broke half of the clips and I need to buy new ones, also stripped the 10mm bolts along with the bumper washer and on top of all that both of my inner fender linings need to be replaced due to cracking and the guy trying to yank off the bumper without removing all the clips..... Now I have to take a trip to honda and replace all the crap he broke,...... It just sucks when your doin something and you find all these problems with your car.*

I gave up on the "crapsnaps" as i call those plug-type fasteners a year ago. The whole front bumper is held on by zip-ties now except where the fasteners are the only choice and i carry extras in the car. Works so much better and the bumper doesn't come off every time i scrape a parking lot thing
