master switch consists of the following...
Driver side switch is a potentiameter (spelling???) pretty much a variable resistor when you go to one resistence it works likepassenger window switch when you push it further it activates auto down.... Passenger side switch is a 3 position switch neutral middle and up and down.

is the auto up/down a feature of the switch itself? If it's a potentiometer, shouldn't there be some sort of logic board somewhere between the motor and switch to interpret the resistance? If we were to duplicate that and replace the switch, I would think that would solve it...

Yup installed. Forgot to take pictures and get wire colors. Took longer to remove the door panel than to get the wiring done.
You have to cut both wires at the motor. Wire in the ground from the Autolock unit to the switch side and then the motor side of the ground. Then cut the power pire to the motor and wire in the switch side to the autolock unit then the motor side. Then get a power source for the unit (I used the R/F stock window switch so when the window lock is enguaged on the L/F swuitch, window will not work at all. Then ground the unit. I used the factory window motor ground again. You really don;t even need the factory wire colors. Just get a test light and find the power window motor and switch. It's simple after that. Works perfectly. I almost like the R/F one touch better than the L/F push and hold auto feature. Jeff |

i see , so is that you that i qouted above? cause if so do you still have normal functions of the window switch, or is it just auto up and down, meaning it will always go all the way down unless you cut it off ?
