tha is the one.. thatsthe only harness that has a 14g wires.

noo the harness i found does not have a 14g wire. more like 20

for some reason my comp wont let me upload the picture.

but i look everywhere for a brown harness with 5 wires that are 14g, and i couldnt find it. weriddd

for those who asked previously about using the button without the key, you can't.

you need the key turned to unlock the steering wheel, even if you do bypass the ecu to start the car without the key.

something wrong. i cant get the engine to start. i got the right wire connected to both the white wire and yellow wire, and i got all the other wires grounded. But the engine still wouldnt start. Anyone have any idea why?

the only difference i did from the diagram is that i solder the wire coming out of the 86 relay to the negative wire coming out of the button and grounded the wire behind the cigarette lighter.

i dont know if i should seperate both negative wire and not ground them at the same location.

did you connect the right pin? did you step on the clutch? did you turn the ky to ACCII? it wont start like?

it fine if you ground them on the same location..it dont matter..

iono what im doing wrong. ill double check tomorrow on all my connection. hmm maybe its just my car.

Other thing is im using only 14 gauge wire and not 16 gauge; i dont think it should even matter right?

yap, we still need turn twice turn.
1st to turn on electrical system
2nd turn to turn off immobilizer system

unless, we have smart key system from factory like audi/bmw/etc.

well i finally got around to wiring this button up

this is what i used...


the tap into the yellow/white wires on the brown plug...



this one is hard to see but it's the wires tapped into the cig lighter...


where i mounted the relay/ground...
