But in my opinion his way of doing it is still better than the original schematic shows. Reason being is that if some dumb kid or person did push the big red bottom with the car in gear and key in ignition it would start even without the clutch engaged or auto shifter in park position. |

Sorry for too lazy to read the whole 28 pages thread, but can someone tell me what is the benefit for installing such a button, besides look cool? I think you still have to put the key in with this mod, right?

And it's work well. Yes, it's correct to the case of may no need to put the time ihibitor.. , as may just only car owner to operate, pushing the botton switch to start the engine. However some time the engine working sound can't hear when driver was in the car with door closed, may confused about he had already started the engine or not and re-pushing the EN start button again, or protect someone pushing the button. ( My propose just to protect MOTOR START working during engine had kept operating only ) And another advantage point is, if you put the timer inhibitor relay by hidden some where, not easily to see and set time just a few second (Ex. 5 sec. to examine the minimum of time to function the EN start button by yourself) plus with you had took out the key starting wire out, made your car have to push this botton only to start engine within 5 sec, if the time had over , the engine can not start. This advantage point may able to protect your car from thief or some kid during you cleaning car by condition of listening music , etc. |

Umm.. my post above #552 just some of advantage point. One more benefit is , using the key start as original, ther are high current voltage pass through the key terminal to drive the MOTOR START directly ( starter cut relay 1) , the high current some time make a key terminal short circut , spark!! To modify as new diagram , whenever EN start button had pushed, just operating the Starter cut relay 2 which I had add only. After this relay worked , the high current voltage goto stater cut relay 1 and the goto Motor start unit. |
