I just figured I'm a little low on money so it might take a little while. Lets see how much this would cost:

Start button: $40
Relay:$10
Connectors:$10
Cables: Have
Solder and Solder Iron: Have

Total Cost: $60

Tell me If I need anything else

haha no I don't have proof I am just saying.

They would somehow have to drill a hole through the shift knob and somehow place it there.

It can be done.

You can just get it at RadioShack. It is a 12Volt / 30 Amp Relay. Just say you need a 12Volt/ 30 Amp automotive relay they should know what it is.

Here are some links:

12VDC/30A Automotive Relay

You will also need some connectors they are as follows:

1/4" Fully Insulated Quick Disconnects

Wire Tap-In Squeeze Connectors

4 Female Quick Disconnects for connecting the wires the relay

4 Wire Tap-In Squeeze Connectors if you decide not to solder 2 of the relay wires to the brown harness (white and brown wires) nor the two wires from the engine start button to the positive and negative terminals of the cigarette lighter

*Note that the Quick Disconnects come w/ male and female ends. You will only need the female ends which look like this:

Female Flag Crimp-On Quick Disconnect

If you need anything else please let me know

heres how mine came out, the pushstart is fully functional.
None of this would have been possible without Japetto, whom did the wiring and instructed me on the install. the only thing i did was the fabrication for the mounting of the button.
