yea it's a little to the right because I saw that hole that looked like a nice place for it so I cut a hole in the dash the same distance and then I realized that the hole was tilted up so it'd be at the corner or the dash so since I already had a hole in my dash, that's where it went.

the chrome is around the whole button... and it just stays... i can just pull it out if i want... but it doesn't move at all...

i cut mine like this b/c it has little grooves...

thanks, so maybe even a little epoxy wouldnt hurt to hold it firm i assume?

well i cut my hole in the dash so tight that it doesn't move... if u accidentally cut too big then some epoxy might help... i wouldn't do it tho...

ok, ill just make a template, dremel it out enough so that its a super tight fit so that it wont budge, that will be fine! thanks so much for the help

this is how i did mine... i dremeled the whole tested the fit... hmmm... too small... dremeled again, testest... too small... dremeled again, hmmm... nice snug fit ... then i worked on the little grooves so the button always looks level and not crooked...

Where does the floppy drive cable connect to..and the floppy drive cable only has a red, yellow and two black wires..in BCJ's diagram I don't see any yellow except from the brown harness which isn't not the cable from the floppy.

Since i couldnt find the Civic Type R Push Start Button Panel, I had my cuz help me with something...i took the coupe panel and made my own push start panel....to me it looks exactly like the jdm one but opposite...i cant wait to install it....tell me what u guys think?
