Ok... I've been trying to wire up my v1 for hours and I'm about to pull my hair out.
My 08 si sedan has 10 wires in that light/sunroof harness - pink, 2 whites, light blue, dark blue, light green, dark green, red, yellow and gray. I have 3 hot wires - one of the white ones, pink and dark blue. They are hot when the ignition is totally OFF and the doors are locked and they are also hot when the ignition is on. NONE of the 10 wires are hot only when the ignition is on. What the F ?? Am I missing something ? |

Well, I threw in the towell on tapping into the headliner harness. I ended up tapping into spot #8 in the fuse block and it works perfectly.
One thing - if anybody else is going to do it this way you might want to make sure your power cord does not cross the curtain airbag when you run it up the A pillar. It was a ***** running the cord around the end of the airbag but it would suck worse to have the bag deploy and get caught on the wire. |

When I got my Si window tint, I asked them to put a 5" strip along the top of my windshield....now I can place my radar detector as high as I want on the tint which kinda acts like tape. Works for me.
