you would need to do the swap at the dealership, because the codes for your key immobilizer are coded to the ECU, so swapping ECUs would make your keys no longer able to start the car

yep. worked for me. swapped mine a few weeks ago. no issues. well other than the fact that we now have each others vins on the ecu, but that ain't no biggie.
