A 15/16" wrench works perfectly.

15/16" (or maybe 24mm) open end wrench should get it done. You'll need some serious elbow grease too. Honda used some sort of "Incredible Hulk" thread locker on that ish.

Seriously, my wrench started to bend before it finally popped. I thought it was going to snap.

Weak wrench IMO.
Or user error.

I haven't tried it with the 24mm, so I can't say. But after taking the filter and a few things out, space was very limited and couldn't apply that much force to it. The BOV is in the way too, might have to remove that in order to get a better grip

Heh. So I did this yesterday, and I didn't feel like pulling my blower off to unscrew it. So I just sawed the one side, and snapped that bia bia in half with a pair of vise grips. Came off rather easily with a 15/16 socket and 1/2" breaker bar. :o Oh, and by the way, this works with the stock modified injectors that come with the CT kit. I just need to ask Jay a few questions. - Sent you a message. Or Vit if you could help maybe..
Edit: Ah heck with it I'll just post here to see if I can get help. Ok, so as stated, I went ahead and got rid of the IABT (or AAV) valve. I have the modified stock 520CC CTE injectors. Everything seems to run like a champ after the car comes to temp and the valve is supposed to be closed. (Shifts even seem smoother but maybe it's placebo effect.) Anyhow, when the car is still cold, and I'm babying it around the development here I get a bit of resurgence when shifting from 1st gear to neutral. So to give a for instance. I start the car let it idle for a minute or so, then I begin to slowly baby it on my way to the stop light out of the development. On the way to the stop light, I don't go above 1-2 gears. So lets say I'm coasting down the street at 6 MPH in 1st. I'm coming to the intersection to turn, so I throw it in neutral and coast to an easy stop before turning. When I go from 1st -> neutral, it seems I get a bit of resurgence. The AFR's drop to about 11.5-12, the engine seems to "stumble" a bit, as if there was a slight surge and in 2 seconds it rebounds right back to normal low load operating AFR. (14.7 or so). I am assuming this is coming from the car thinking the IABT valve is present and the car still being cold. Anyhow - how do I remedy this? Someone please enlighten me. Keith, you might want to try the idle learn procedure. It might help with that bit of weirdness when the engine is cold. I noticed that at first as well, but it went away with time.
Let car cool completely. - Take off negative battery terminal for 10 seconds. - Reattach positive battery terminal - switch key to II(run) position for 10 seconds - start car - Rev to 2900-3000 RPM for 7 minutes - leave the car on, and let idle for 15 minutes.
