2008+ Accord Coupe - OPINIONS?

what do you all think of the 2008 Honda Accord Coupes?

Looks/Style?
Performance?

I may look at getting an Ex Coupe 5spd in a few years, once they refresh the accord coupe. There are, however, a few things that I dislike on it....the back end looks awkward when you're looking directly at it (it needs the spoiler for sure) & i hate crome on cars, so hopefully they get rid of all the crome trim they have everywhere.

How does it compare to the Si? better ? worse ?

IMHO the new Accord coupe is gorgeous and looks even better with the full HFP kit on it.

By why are you sweating it. If you're not getting one for a few years I am sure the design will be tweeked a bit by then (unless you are buying a used 08)

Love it! I originally went in for an '08 Accord Coupe then saw the lonely Mugen just sitting there. Long story short... the Coupe is still at the dealership.

I think it looks pretty good, it kinda looks like a chick car tho, I see lots of women driving them since they've been out

Seeing as the refresh to the design won't be until 2011, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Engine wise, it's the Si's larger brother (K24 v K20), but it's heavier, and doesn't benefit from a close ratio transmission

Love my Accords, had 3 of them, but Honda completely ruined my love for em with the design of the 8th gen, I just...can't get used to it. The 8th civic made me fall in love over two years ago, so the choice was obvious.

I prefer the si's interior (styling) and I like small cars though...

Not a bad looking car but after I test drove it, I marked it off the list. Theres just too much going on there. And there's features that the SI has that I felt the Accord should have too and I don't understand why it doesn't.

My Dad really wants one... He just has a tough time coughing up 35K for it... even though he can pay cash for it and practically steal it off the lot.

WTF is that bullshit? I'd tell em to piss off and go to another dealership. Screw that automatic assumption crap.

Unless you get them in 6-Speed manual V6 cuz the engines are i-VTEC instead of VCM.

Completely agree! U have owned 2 Accords in my life and the 8th gens are ugly imho. I love the styling of the 03-07s...the new ones seem way too big and too much chrome.

That said, the engine kicks ass.

my mom has a v6 coupe its a good drivin car. The 4cyl is a bore, test drive it and was amazed at how slow it was. The 6spd v6 i did not like the feel of the clutch, but had plenty of pep.

just spotted the new accord coupe in black. i thought it looked really sexy in black but i love black cars lol. but it looked pretty heavy. performance wise, i dont know if this car was made to hug corners or not. but as far as looks go its way better than the previous gen accord.
