I like the new Accord coupe it reminds me of a large Si, I wish they would change the grill and Accord font.

Whats really funny is how bad the back end looks and how most people will be seeing most of it.

The V6 - Six-Speed is Fast as hell. 1st from a 10 roll the VSA light is solid on, 2nd gets it to 75; then grabbing for 3rd to buck 20 or so... too many tickets to find out more. Just wish it was RWD then it would be a real contender. It bar none is faster than a stock S2000. Pretty impressive when you have a S2000 owner say, "D@MN guess I gotta turn up the boost"

I like the new accord coupe. Sucks I needed a sedan or I would have at least thought about buying one over the TL-S.

I drove a V6 coupe today....

Although it feels a lot more nimble than I thought it would, it doesn't corner as quickly as the SI, and doesn't feel as tossable. It does feel a lot more nimble than the heavy curb weight would lead you to believe.

The clutch is too spongy for my tastes, lacking the snap of a more performance/enthusiast car.

The shifter sits way to high up, and although the action is smooth, it doesn't feel half as nice as the SI's.

The power is very smooth, and has more than enough for the street, unless you are braking the law.

Overall a nice car, but even with the extra power, it feels watered down over the SI.

I still haven't crossed it off my list. I think some better tires and suspension, some exhaust, and a short shift kit could make the car a champ.

I may look at getting an Ex Coupe 5spd in a few years, once they refresh the accord coupe. There are, however, a few things that I dislike on it....the back end looks awkward when you're looking directly at it (it needs the spoiler for sure) & i hate crome on cars, so hopefully they get rid of all the crome trim they have everywhere.

How does it compare to the Si? better ? worse ?
well for one, the new accord is dope... i know a kid who got it in the blue color they got for it, and i sold him my chrome 20's and it looks SICK>>> also the performance on it is good as well, i test drove one and they got enough kick in them. your obviously not gonna be racing it. so IMO it;s a sick car with visual and audio potential, not racing, although it does have some power in it. if your looking for something to beat the piss out of, get the SI, if your looking for a nice cruiser, get the Accord, the 2-door is sexy and i pop wood every time i see it... blue looks good expecially with the chrome wheels. look into a rear deck spoiler lip for the lack of rear end respect you have for it. i think an actual spoiler might look weird, but the lip would look sick.

The new accord looks ok in that trim. Replace the chrome trim, put on the hfp body kit, drop it a few inches and you have one hot looking car.

I didn't mind the older Accords because they were always priced pretty fair. However, the newer Accords have a slightly better interior but they're too over priced. I sat in one and it felt cheap for that price. I was pretty disappointed after sitting in and driving one. I'd rather spend a few grand more and upgrade to a TL, G, 3 series, C class, etc...
