Same, I had a 92 Accord Sedan as my first car/Honda. Loved that little car. Then a damn old woman had to rear end me in her Durango while I was stopped at a light.

wow. so none of you guys are digging the new accord coupe. i think i am the only one who likes it lol. personally i would never buy this new gen accord even though i dig the looks. it dosent scream small, lightweight, sporty and youth friendly. seems like a car more on the luxurious side.

I love the front end of the coupe but hate the rear, its looks too much like a Galant. Sometimes I'll see a black couple that makes me think twice but overall I dislike the rear.

Plus, they want too much for them IMHO. No way am I paying $29k for an accord.

Im about to drop an H22 in my 94 Accord EX Coupe....has 212k Miles on it....and looks like it has a fraction of those miles...

Great little car with lots of potential....

On the Accord Coupe side of things, especially the lower trims with the 190HP 4 cyl Engine with Manual...we cant keep those on the lot.

Very popular....and about the same price as an Si

My first car which was a Black 1993 Accord 10th Anniversary edition, died the exact same way...I was rear-ended by a grandma w/ extra slow reflexes in a 4000lb Caddy! That was back in 1999 right before I started college. Ah man, I miss that thing it had a AEM cai back from 1998!

I love the look of the new accord coupe.

I'm sure the v6 6spd is a blast in a straight line but I'm skeptical about the handling. Then again, I've never driven one so I don't know. I just bet it doesn't handle as well as the Si.

You are comparing two TOTALLY different cars. Of course the Accord doesn't handle as good (or even as CLOSE) as the Si. I've driven one, they are made for old folks imo.

i am back to give my opinion on the accord as i saw another one upclose today in white. you guys are 100% right with regards to the back end of the car being butt ugly lol. the whole car looks like a huge tank to me and i saw all older ppl driving this car so i guess they are targetting the older crowd for this car, whereas our 8th gen civic was targeted towards the sporty youth market.

Mine was the champagne colored with burgendy interior. Did yours have that weird rust problem on the back wheel well between the panels? I saw almost every 91-93 Accord that that problem.

Why not? Just say you want to trade it in. After you test drive it and they want to work out the paper work. Say you'll bring your car around to get a estimate and smash up out of there.

Personally have a big car fetish and really liked the new Accord along with a few other larger rides. Was just the wrong car at the wrong time for my needs. Besides, I can always borrow my Dad's LeSabre when I get the itch to cruise in something big.
