chasis code is different from the Vin #. Your Vin starts with a "J" - congrats, you have a civic that was made in Japan.

You still have a Chasis code- which is whatever make/model you have listed above.

You forgot the extensions.
Ex: FG2156JW - Civic Si
FG2156JXW -Civic Si HPT
FG2156KW - Civic Si Nav
FG2156KXW - Civic Si Nav HPT
"K" is Nav on the EX/SI models.

ok i just got my vin# and it doesn't match this...


it is... fg11666 not fg1166e, it is a 5 speed gg coupe, someone let me know if they understand my vin#

I am not too sure if that is correct....
well the vin number only allows for 5 positions for the chassis code
if we're talkign about vins then you dun have anythign past the numbers in the chassis code.

k no one answered me yet....my car is a lx coupe manual so therefor it is supposed to be fg1166e according to the above chart...but its not...its....................fg11666..........anyo ne know why??? is it possed or something? lol someone tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never thought of myself as "Superstitious" before,
but if that number was on a car i was buying ,It would make me feel creepy
Maybe it's a misprint ?

haha its lucifers ride! well the second it starts talking to me or changing the radio station itself, im selling it lol....misprint would be kinda cool, but im sure theres a reasonable explanation...no one really knows?? how do i find out??

Did the dealer put you HFP kit on? Maybe that has somthing to do with it. It this # in the vin or where is it located on the car besides the chasis?

The dealer did but my HFP kit on but that has nothing to do with it....

and the # is in the vin
