i seen a vid youtube a while back of some guys in the UK doing burnouts with a four wheel drive civic it was also a 4door i think its for real

could be, if it's true, then I retract my statement...but it's definitely not USDM

....hmmm, that list does show a total of three USDM models...I unfortunately wasn't live when most of those were produced, and I'm sure they didn't sell to well....but I guess they do exist....go figure

I have one of these sitting out in my driveway. I live in the USA. It is a '91 honda civic wagon.
It's not exactly AWD, it's real-time 4WD. It's front wheel drive most of the time, but if the wheels start slipping, the rear wheels turn accordingly.

someone also did a project where they took the awd system out of an early crv and threw it into the civic sedan body, because they share platforms
