Confused.. but not complaining. FG2 related
Ok, I went earlier today to do a test and tuned at my local autocross track. (Really just an abandoned strip mall parking lot converted into a track). But as I was driving my FG2's maximum limit of grip, I noticed that I was getting over steer instead of the usual under steer. Well, I did certain turns with different results.
Early Apex with no flick in: understeer. Late Apex with flick in: oversteer. Center Apex with no flick: understeer. Double Apex with flick: UNDERSTEER. Tripod mode (With one of the back wheels going into the air in a turn): Oversteer. I gotta say though.. Civic Si is one of the best cheap auto-crossers. |
