Gli Ftmfw

THe VW GLI just left me breathless. I think Im in love. The handeling and the torque are just smexy. I test drove both FA5 and GLI and I was just impresed with the GLI performance. Im trying to convince my parents to let me trade my 2008 civic ex coupe for the GLI. I dont have to worry about money because my parents and I paid off the car already. Hope me good luck

well at least where i live... the ratio of guys to girls driving jettas is somewhere around, let's say, 1:3257. doesn't make them bad cars or anything, just girls cars.

Is this a joke? You just got your Civic and now you are so excited about a regular jetta that you sound like a 12 year old?

If your parents bought you your Civic then they should be smart enough not to let you immediately get another new car.

I don't care if you keep the Civic or not, but switching it out for another car so soon isn't a good choise.

Unless you meant to type GTI...

Nah this isnt a joke. GLI aint no regular jetta, its luxurious and has power to back it up, plus I paid 8 thousands for the civic, so i should have some what of a decision. I dun like GTI because its like a mini sport van in my opinion.

Ah, I was mistaken then. Thought you where excited over a base model, haha. Good luck with the dealer, read over some of the "buying a new car" threads for some ideas of what to look out for, esp the easy money makers for dealers (paint protection, etc).

isnt the GLI almost 30k?
yup...GLI with nav and sunroof = $29120. wow!
i know you said money isnt a factor. but why pay 8k more for a car that there is a very good chance will not outlive your current car.
