Pick out a new car for my Brother

Ok so here is the deal. My bro is done w/ college (WVU) and going to be working down in Florida. He is in the market for a car and I have suggested to him so far a Altima SE-R, Mazdaspeed6, and Acura TSX and TL. I just wanted some input from you as to what you thought would be a good purchase, the criteria are as follows.
1. Relatively new, from 2005 on up
2. FWD is preferred, although RWD and 4wd are options, Keep in mind Florida weather
3. Under 30K miles
4. Sedan
5. He prefers one w/ a Navi, but does not HAVE to have one
6. Around 25 grand
7. He's going to be working w/ a landscape architecture firm. Occasionally will be transporting people, but he's single now. Gas mileage is a factor but he says the fun to drive factor outweighs the mileage issue

Thanks for the input, he's worked really hard and deserves a great car. He initially wanted a G35, but I'm trying to see what else is out there.

^^^ You left the most important criteria off the list... PRICE!!!

Edit: ah 25k .... what about...

What field will he be working in? Will he need to transport more than 1 person? Will he start a family? Is gas efficiency a huge concern or little to no concern?

TSX...

i'm getting my 3rd gear fixed, and i am driving a 2008 TSX right now as my loner car. it is really nice. it isn't as fun to drive as the Si but it is more fun to drive than my old car. it isn't as fast at the Si but it also isn't slow. the k24 is really Tourqy it is a kinda nice change from the Si. it gets better milage than the Si on high way, but around town it gets worse. but it is still good milage. and u gota rember i have done a lota mods that get me better milage. I,TBS,Pullys,HFC,E, and upgraded my grounds. so in reality it probably dose get beter gasmilage than a stock Si. the interior is really nice although the panels are made of the same eassy scrath plastic as ours. the leather seats are really nice verry confterable but when you are doing hard cornering you slide a little bit. but the car wasn't made for cornering in mind so it is aceptalbe. The HID headlights are amazing ihave never driven a car with HID's and after having this that will be my next mod after i get my rims and new tires, it would come befor that but i need new tires soon and i'm not spending money on anyting untill i have new tires. cuz i live in FL and it rains a lot. the stero is nice. i was happy 2 see the 6 disk changer but when i put my mp3 cds it was a big dissapointment when i found out it didn't play MP3 cds but when i was switching the modes and i found out the loner had XM in it i was verry happy. another thing i'm getting as a result of having this loner! and the sound quality is pretty good and i even have the base system. i don't have the one with the sub. the only thing i don't like about the loner they gave me is the butt sex blue paint job. but if it were black or silver it would look really good.

well i hope this helps and if u have anymore questions about the car let me know

and yes i am tempted 2 switch the TB from the TSX with myne 2 get the bigger TB me and my buddy kicked the idea about putting it on his si then switching it 2 myne and then us both buying one for his but. i can't do that i don't have it in me to rip someone off like that.

Mazdaspeed 6 only comes in manual, so you can take that off the list. The Altima SE-R's are really nice. They look amazing. My neighbors across the street have 2 brand new ones and they love them.

Does he want to spend 25k or is that like the total upper limit?

For a more expensive car a used TSX would be nice. It was my absolute favorite car working at acura.

For a cheaper car who not a used or even new Civic, he could save money and fuel costs with a smaller car.

he does not know how to drive manual, and honestly I could not see him do it nor does he have an interest in learning. I'm trying to get him to test drive one when he gets back from morgantown wv. I think for the price, luxury and performance the tsx is what is gonna fit him the best
