one of my friends tried to do this years ago. He passed a cop sitting in the median and my friend was in his Yellow Volvo 850 T5-R, a pretty damn rare car. He took the first exit and tried to get away but the cop easily found him since his car was unmistakeable. He wasn't happy AT ALL and yelled at him but for some reason he let him go with just a ticket for speeding!

Those new Dodge Charger cop cars are fast. And he doesn't have to catch up to you that quick. Just keep visual site of the speeder and turn on the blue lights.

Next time your on the freeway slow down and let a faster car pass. Notice how you can see that car for about .5-1mile away.

That and the OP has an R18. Not really known for speed.. Either way running form the cops is a bad idea. Chances are slim that you will get away and if you are caught you are F U C K E D.

I've always wanted to run from the cops. I wish somehow they had training on pursuit and allowed drivers like me in a closed course try to escape and evade the police while they are graded on their performance to keep up. That would be so badass...

I've seen a cop training video on youtube before.

Cops cars chasing a blue 06 civic si coupe on a closed track w/ cones.

It's kind of funny they picked a blue si..

Be thankful you don't live here in Ontario (Canada), where last year they implemented a street racing law because there are too many a-holes like yourself causing carnage all over our roads. The law now means that cars will automatically be impounded for 7 days, driver's licenses are suspended for a week, and a minimum fine of $2,000 is imposed for anyone caught driving 50 km over the posted speed limit. 50 km is approx 30mph!

If convicted, you could face a fine up to $10,000.00 and a 2 year license suspension. If convcted on a second offense the suspension can be up to 10 years.

you won't go to jail but you may end up being charged with careless or reckless driving.
