Traded in the Si

After much thought, I decided to trade in the Si. Got something a bit bigger, a bit faster. Volvo S60 R, AWD, 6spd. rated at 300hp. I must say this thing is nice, comfortable and fast.

Those Volva S60 R's are hot. But ... Ford owns them now. Good luck

Sweet! I love the S60 R's. My friend has had one for a few years and it's been great. Get a chip for it, it'll make it a lot faster and I think it removes the first gear boost limit also.

Nothing wrong with new Ford's, I've had better luck with my newer Fords than I had with my Si, the reason why I traded it in.

Congrats on the purchase! I've been a Volvo fan since I've owned an S40, even with all the problems it gave me. LOL.

Actually, it's manual. They come in Manual variants. The shift "boot" is actually plastic that covers the entire thing, so instead of a leather boot, it's enclosed as you see in the pictures. kthxbai.

O. That tiny pic looks like a gated shifter for an auto... what a weird design.

It's actually what I liked best about the interior:

Close-up for you.

that is certainly a conversational piece... i guess you'd have to warm up to it. Currently, I still like the traditional accordion style better than that!

I wouldn't want to trade in my FA5 for anything really... Plus Cars like volvo's isn't that great, Now if you were thinking about getting a 4B11 thats a different story. But other than that FA5's are very content to have..

Actually, it may not look it here, but Volvo tuning is quite big in certain circles.

Ummm.. you must mean the 4B11T... since the standard 4B11 is nothing spectacular... and BTW 4B11 is an engine code, whereas FA5 is a chassis code... For consistency sake why not refer to the Evo X as a GS41 or an Evo X........

FA5 is to GS41
as
K20Z3 is to 4B11T
