If that is including destination, it's not bad. I was offered 15600 for an auto in december of 07. Ended up buying an FG2

Doesn't seem like a bad deal if it includes destination. But consider this.

I know many people don't need the features of the upgraded EX, but do you? Did you research the differences? If you're aware of them and happy with the LX, go for it.

An EX would be great (rims, disk breaks all around, better stereo, sunroof, I'd love it!) - I just don't think I can afford one, do you think I can find one for $16?

Thanks! I will check them out today, since I live in Irvine.

Wow if an LX went for 15, I wonder if I can get an EX for 16? hhmmmmmmmm...

If you can't go over $16,000, than I'd stick with the LX. They'll never let an EX go for $16,000.

has anybody ever bought new from a different state?

Are some states cheaper than others?

Also, I wonder if a NEW 07 would be cheaper, because the dealership said they had some of those too.

BTW, thanks for all your feedback

If there is an 07 left over I'm sure you should be able to get invoice or under invoice on it. Dealers are usually required to push those out ASAP.

New 07 EX still on the lot? Go for it!

Just make sure they didn't drill the front license plate bracket in by a screw. I really hate that!

yes, that is what I will try to do now,I'll try to get a new 07 EX 5M for 17k out the door. Does that sound like a reasonable offer?

I'll just call all the dealerships until i find one!

I got an 07 LX 5MT coupe for $16700 out the door back in March. Save money and get an 07 if you can find it.

I drove 200+ miles to another state when I bought my new 02 Accord. No problem - you pay tax when you return home and get your plates. The price diff was $1700. Yeah, prices vary greatly by city and state. I recently got quotes (including destination) on an 08/LX/sedan/5spd. In North AL it's $17.3K, but in ATL it's $16K. I guess really big volume dealers get hidden incentives from the manufacturers.

Well none of the dealerships are going for a 07 ex for $17 out the door. So I guess I'll just offer 17 out the door for an 08 LX.

Too bad though I really like the EX's, but I cant go over $17k

Yea I'm afraid 17 for an EX seems like too little to ask for. If you can do 18 otd I'm sure they'll do it.
