Maybe he was talking about the entire line of Skyline GT-Rs? That's a fairly weird assumption though...even if it is mostly truthful. Back in the 90's Japanese cars were just rated at 280hp by manufacturer, in order to stop them from going over a certain tax level or something like that, IIRC.

it is the first japanese supercar. The r33/34 were fairly common cars in japan and they were priced right(awesome cars though i would love to have one). The NSX didnt have the power to be a super car.
I didnt know it was only a V6. I like it more now |

Nissan really tooled it up this time. "The car is best the way it is". I know it is a great piece of engineering but there is almost always room to improve. One may want to change the wheels for something lighter smaller or just a different style...The car is really heavy...how about cf hood and trunk....And the real reason I am starting to hate new cars is the way the make the ECU so you can't do a damn thing to the car. Advancing technology in the ECU is good I guess to be able to fine tune more things if you know what you are doing but having codes and stuff so aftermarket exhaust intake or w/e can't be used is just plain lame. I know they don't want it to get riced out but some doosh will do it anyway, it's only a matter of time.
