Unhappy I wanted a si... I put a 500 deposit down

I wanted a si... I put a 500 deposit down but wasnt not approved do you think they will give me my money back! I'm so suprised

i hope you have a receipt...

better yet, you should have put it on a credit card (check is almost as good)

just go tell them that since you were not approved, you would like your money back asap... they are required to return it in a timely fashion (10 business days would be about the max that could be considered 'timely')

get the 500 back save up a little bit more and see if you cant get a co signer.. and with all that you should be good.

Hecks yea you get your money back unless you signed a paper saying stuff that sounds crazy but they keep it... But that's if you think like me...

So yeah I guess I signed a non-refundable paper.. Probably the dumbest thing I have ever done. I usually pay close attention... but I was so hyped up on getting the car.. I have pretty effin good credit I didnt think it was possible for me to get turned down..

OMG... $500 for a credit check? You know those are available free online.... that is the biggest bull$hit I've ever heard in my life... You need some fight in you, I would not allow this...

Go to the dealership and raise hell, they cant keep your deposit.. That is rediculas, if they dont want to give it back tell every custermere on the lot.

That's bullshit.

The deposit holds the car for you when it arrives. You need to raise hell. Even if you signed paperwork, I'd raise hell. That's ridiculous!

not true... if a legal contract was signed stating otherwise, he has no recourse...

to the OP:

get a copy of said form, scan it in, and post it up.... let us see what it says. i'll be able to tell you if it is binding, and i'm sure others can too... don't take the dealership at their word on it.
