Do some research. Both cars have their advantages. I personally would go for the Z. Just make sure you get the one with the LSD. It's a great car, read many reviews on it. Better yet, go out and test drive both vehicles.

the z is ok, but maintenance is expensive, the car doesnt feel that solid compared to the si, and i cant count the number of recalls and problems i see with the z on a day to day basis.
go with the si, i just makes sense in the long run, but if you really are going into that dollar range you would be dumb not to go with the new BMW 135, turbo, faster than a z, leather, its a no brainer.

I think he would be dumb to get the 135. BMW equals HIGH maintenance. G'luck!

My friend bought a BMW 740 a couple months ago. It is the most expensive car to maintain I have ever seen. He ended up spending about 3000$ parts and labor the first year to fix small broken parts.

gotta remember the 350z is only a 2 seater. i thought i'd never need the back seats in my 08 si but theyve definetly come in handy. the 350z is a bad mother ****** though. personally id take the z because of the performance. im more about performance then practicallity. but then again, id kill myself in a z... and i couldnt afford one being 17

bmw: awesome lease deals, FREE maintenance 4 years or 50000 miles. the only thing you pay for is tires. heck look at at 128i even, those are still pretty quick and more fuel efficient/ cheaper

If you want a z shop them. There are deals to be had. Way under msrp. I could have got one easy for under invoice.

But to compare or cross shop a z and si? Come on. Nothing common between them other than 4 wheels.

You dont know what fast is, if 13.6 is fast to you.

Oh that 135 you got there is like 50k+ and is not a option in the States... FAIL

yeah, your right 13.6 stock isnt fast, what ever was i thinking, your civic is prob much faster right?
I know this particular model isnt available, im showing ignorants (like you) why the Europeans dominate in the looks dept. I could see your point if the stateside model looked nothing like this, but im sorry you fail with your pointless post. I know that the civic is the mother of cars but honestly bro, when your not flipping burgers and put that college education to use, you may, perhaps, want to upgrade to MUCH better engineered platform, such as BMW.

but the Z with the optional Stillen supercharger is beast and would be an awesome car, but thats too much money imo.

Btw, straight line speed isnt the only speed their is. but you knew that already.

Stock 135i (still owns, and is available to US. is that better?)

cat got your tongue?

Im not like the hords of people on this forum that think a stock Si can dip into the low 14's, or high 13's <---Lolz... Not happening, so dont act like im a Si owner that thinks its fast.

Still the 135i is ugly....
