Memorial Day special pricing/term event?

Looking at a possible purchase of an 08 EX coupe (Rallye Red 5spd manual) pretty soon. Anyone happen to know if Honda does any Memorial Day deals with special terms or better prices? What would be a good price on an EX?? ~$19K plus TT&L??

This depends on Region....

Usually Mem. Day weekend is one of if not the Biggest Sales Weekends for Many Dealrs.....but depending on area, like if you were close to Texas....we have EX Civics at 18 - 19k Right now....no telling for that weekend if they may be lower.

When I bought mine in mid-March, there was a EX parked in the showroom with a $18K tag hanging from the mirror. Sticker for a basic EX auto (w/o leather or NAV) was @ $20k, 5-speed M/T was @ $1K less. So, ~$19K +TT&L is essentially paying sticker. You can probably do a little better but it will take some arm twisting.

One additional thing to look for, check the assembly date on the door jamb as you shop. Not sure if it was the specific dealer but notice that many I looked at were built last Fall. The one I picked was still covered with plastic shipping wrap but had leaf debris in the body seams from last Fall. My intrepretation is cars are selling slower than they would ever admit if their stock is over 90 days old. This may give you a feel for your buying leverage.
