When they get the car, part of the process of getting it ready for sale is drilling that hole. I'm not bitching at the dealership for doing it. That's fine. But give the owner, the person who paid 20k for the car the OPTION of whether or not to drill that unnecessary hole!
Besides, there are other options to put the plate in other places, of which I was planning on.
And the dings and scratches? I think I definitely can bitch about that.
I got the car fixed and back. They rubbed out the entire hood, fixed the hole and took out the ding. Everything looks great. If you didn't know that hole was ever there, you'd never know. Pics to come.
My service guy the whole time was great. Lesson to take from this: Do a complete walk around with your service person EVERY TIME before you drop the car off for ANY service!
