my driving accident.. 4/3/08

For those of you who remember that i got my brand new 08 lx about 2 weeks ago here's what happened Friday April 4, 2008....

So school is out and i'm just driving down the normal road i usually do to get home when all of a sudden this kid just turns into my lane w/o looking and hits me. he doesn't even put on his blinkers..

The road has 4 lanes.. (2 going right/2 going left) I was on the left side of the right lanes and this kid that hits me is on the right side of the right lanes..

We're both going about 25-30 (school zone speed limit)..

now my whole front right side is ruined and the passenger door wont even open..

anyways i called the cops and he told his side (he told the cop he wasn't paying attention) and i told my side (i told the cop the ass hole just turned right into me)

this is my first accident and hopefully his insurance company will pay for the repairs and maybe get some extra $$$.

I hate teenage drivers.

I especially hate male teenage drivers who assume that because they have a dick, they are God's gift to the automobile.

I hate people that don't use their blinkers.

But what I hate most is police officers who don't think that a kid causing three accidents in one week si worthy of having a driver's license, giving that it his first week of driving. Period.

I know it sucks. My car had only 8,000 miles on it when an idiot pulled out in front of me and caused me $4,500 in damage. Car has sinced been fixed, but still feeling bitter....

dam. sorry to hear about that. hope everything works out for you. that guy shouldnt even be driving on the streets if he got into 3 accidents in his first week of driving even if his dad was a cop cause wouldnt his insurance sky rocket like mad.

Damn, Sorry about your car. At least he admitted it and by that his insurance should pay for everything. I am a teenager, and I drive carefully making sure to look pretty much everytime, especially since I own a FG2. I have had my license for a year and a half now and I am accident free and ticket free.. YAY!. My parents and friends are all suprised. Lol. But I always say I am not stupid and want to keep it that way. Hopefully he gets his license pulled 3 accidents in a week is unacceptable and I am surprised his Dad didnt pull it after the 1st one. wow. Anyways Good luck with the Fix and Hopefully it is all covered by the kids insurance

thats tuff man... he will deff. loose his license maybe not after the first but deff. the second. The thing is its not like the cop gets out of his car and after finding out its your second accident shreds your license. It works on a point system(as i's sure everyone knows, not insulting anyones intelligence). But for drivers that are 17 y/o it takes less points to get your license suspended...and even less when your sixteen... pretty sure 2 accidents and deff. 3 will do it for a minor... so he should be expecting a letter in the mail from the dmv shorty... good luck with the repairs...and don't be afraid to get it repaired(at his insurance companies cost) more then once until your satisfied.

My 3 week old Si got rear ended in LA by some kid in a ford ESCORT, while I was just sitting there at a redlight behind 4 other cars. i think he had ADHD or somethin, i don't care i still hate him.

Why make such a lame comment. I hate when people say that or make a really stupid generalization about a group. I am a teenage driver I never speed, never race, and try to be as careful as possible...I am not perfect and nobody is but I sure as hell try.

Hey do you know if you can pick the shop that will be doing the repairs on your car if the other person is at fault? i just got hit and i dont want him to take it to a hole in the wall shop as i over heard him asking someone on the phone for a cheap body shop.

Some fatty almost re-ended me on the way home at a stop light. Then I saw them turn into Mcdonalds down the road, must of been in a real hurry for a Big Mac
