Well, i have been reading here and i dont think it is really just tC owners who are like that. I have met some dumb ignorant people with our 8th gens. just like with any other kind of car u meet ignorant stupid people regardless of what they drive. Before my FG2, i had an 05' tC boosted and i went into a mcdonalds to get some food, came back and smelt beer off of my car, i thought it was just one spot, but somebody did that to the whole car, i was pissed, but you find ignorant people like that. My dad owns an 05' lotus elise, went to the movies, came out and found mayonaise all over his car! Who ever did it i guess thought it was funny because the car is yellow! My point is no matter what somebody drives, you will find envious people! {sorry for the long post}

that really sucks. i know a couple of tc owners and they dont seem bad. and yes, they are hs and college students but theyre not those type of ppl who would do these sort off stuff. i agree wit everyone on here as u'll encounter some tc owners that envies your car and would do this, but also some other tc owners that respect your car thinkin that u'll respect theirs.

...

let us know if you what you were able to do, this sin't something you should let them get away with, they will probably just do it to someone else and you have the advantage of possibly catching them on tape.

if you decide to follow through with this, having them on tape and knowing about what time they were there or area they were around it would be worth it personally to prosecute them and hopefully keep them from doing it again to someone else.

seems like theres plenty of people in your area willing to help you search or keep an eye out for them for them too.

I just hope it's not one of those places that don't have any and the stupid kids know about it.

Please stop the fanboi-inspired hating thing. I know 3 guys that drive tc's and I can honestly say that they're much more mature than I am I'm actually surprised about tC's being stereotyped as a chick car....if the Si somehow didn't fit in my budget last year, the tC was my next option (though I'd rather get the TL, Jetta GLI, and RSX, but they are more $ than both the Si and the tC).

Again, please stop this immature hate on other cars. If you have a reason to not like it, present it in a mature and civilized fashion. We have enough rude dumbasses out there giving our cars a bad reputation.

Dude, all cheap(er) cars will be labeled chick cars. This is easily explained by the fact that for the most part, girls don't care what kind of car they drive as long as its cheap, reliable, and "cute". That's why the Civic was dubbed a chick car. Same applies with the Jetta and tC. For the Daddys girls, I've even seen the RSX be dubbed a chick car.

But I don't care. I've owned preludes (also been called chick cars), an RSX, and an Si. And I would drive a tC if it were given to me. The only thing that makes a car stereotyped to a specific gender, age group, or status is it's majority of buyers.
