Road kill

literally.

So a few nights ago my g/f and I were driving back to her place when a furry little critter decided to creep across the highway. I was going about 120k when i saw it and I knew if i got to it at that speed it wouldn't be good for either of us. So as i got closer and slowed down to about 60k I realized it was a racoon, it started running fast in the same direstion i went to avoid it. Surely enough the little guy couldn't run fast enough do it so *thump thump*
g/f screams! i pull over, racoon's gone, Honda...........A. OK! pull back on the road, the car still drives perfect, then and i'm off.

does anyone else have a hunting story?

I hope to live without that kind of experience. I hate seeing roadkill.

I hit a squirrel once. It made it past my front tires but got hit by the rear passenger tire. After i hit it i saw it roll around a little and kinda curl up in a ball and die

I drove my parents to North Carolina a couple of times, and the road I take ones Im in North Carolina there are no street lights, it pitched black unless your headlights are on during the night...I saw this dog, on the middle of the street, I was going about 60 m.p.h... I was lucky enough to miss it... turning my wheel quickly to avoid a road kill

a deer hit ME once.
Seriously. It jumped out of the woods and slammed into the passenger side of my car...didnt do any damage other than a slight dent. By the time I got out, the deer was gone.

i was driving on a two lane road and a pidgeon was walking across the street, no idea why really, i figured it would get up and fly the closer i got but sure enough i looked in the mirror and saw that i ran it over, and there were cars all around so i couldnt get around it, ... and once i was on the highway the night of my birthday driving home doin 70 and a deer ran across, i swear i was less than half a second from hitting it it was inches from me, i had to pull over cuz i was so freaked out it probably would have went through my windshield, all this was in my 04 coupe
