Several dealers, only one good one.

So the closest dealership to my home is Honda City in Levittown, New York. I went there in March when I decided I wanted the new SI and I ordered a NHB SI w/ Navi... they said due to demand and whatnot I would have to wait until July for delivery and that I'd be paying MSRP. I wasnt in any rush to get rid of my current car, and I'd seen a lot of people paying over MSRP so I was fine with that.

Flash forward to this Friday, a guy saw my car and made me an offer I couldnt refuse. Its hard to sell old cars with work in them so when you get a good offer, you've got to jump on it. By Sunday I was carless.

I called up a few other dealerships on the Island and explained my situation and they all said stuff like $2000 over MSRP and I told them to **** themselves. So I'm out east at my girlfriend's house and come across Nardy Honda. I figure wtf, might as well check it out.

We walk around the lot and dont see a single SI, same story in the showroom. So I explain my situation to a salesman and he asks me to hold on a minutes. He comes back and says "follow me."

So we walk into the service area and there are 2 NHB SI's one w navi, one w/o. He says the one w/o navi is sold and the one w/ is for his parts manager but he said he'll wait for the next one... So I went from waiting until July with no car to getting a brand new car yesterday. I was speechless.

I paid $22,999 for the SI with navigation and summer tires.

Pics coming soon.
