well when i fill up at about 1/4 tank left maybe a little less i usually have around 300+ miles driven so for the 3-4 gallons left i could probably get to 400 miles but its not good to drive down low on the guage

Wow! That's amazing! You must be the king of hypermiling!

j/k

That's pretty good really--I've never gotten more than 305 miles on a tank, and that was pushin fumes.

Either that or Exxon 93. My understanding is Exxon, Shell and BP all come from the same source. That's just something I heard, of course.

As for paying more for 93, I just try not to get upset over it. The price of gasoline is going nowhere but up anyway, regardless of how I feel about it.

I a little less nowadays.

$3.88 a gallon is the cheapest I can find around here. Actually the 92 at Speedway is more expensive then the 93 at Shell. Funny how it's one price then a little ways down the street it's another.

I don't think so... as long as ur usin premium you should be fine no matter what octane.. don't quote me on that tho. I just wouldn't be jumpin around puttin different octanes in it all the time.. especially goin from premium to mid-grade and back again. my mom used to have a Mercury Marauder...premium only. And she let someone use it and they didn't know that.. they put regular in it and man, the sounds that were comin outta that thing.. not good.

About 28 MPG on average for my wife and about 23 or so for me. I am going to try filling up regularly and see if I can get better gas milage by only using a 1/4 tank at a time.

My tanks are usually about 320 miles, that is about 60% highway (80mph or more) and 40% city.

However, I am paying about $4.75 per gallon up here in canada right now. Costs about $60 to fill the tank.

Oh well...
