Just curious....
If I were to trade in my car in the future, but left my car the way it is now (lowered on springs, race header/catback/cai, aftermarket wheels), how negatively would it affect my trade in value? I don't have my stock parts anymore as I sold them, so I'm wondering if it'd be worth the cost to buy oem parts and install them if I were to trade in my car?
Do you guys have any experiences with this? |

i work for a dealership and generally when we see cars come through that have been modified the trade in value significantly drops my suggestion is check it out first cuz i don't know how honda does it then try tuning shops that will sell cars or privatly.

depends on the mood of the used car manager. i had my lx traded in w/ intake, exhaust and lowering spring for 11k on one dealership. i went to another and manager gave me 13.5k for it. he's actually giving me another 300 if i could bring the stock parts back, but i dont have it anymore.
shop around or better yet sell privately.
