That is priceless i love it.

When i picked up the 08 Lx a few weeks ago, we got the 199 lease deal honda was running and I Said to the sales man, So Tony, they have this deal at every Honda dealer in the state, why should I buy it from you? He said well we have blah blah blah so many blah good things about our dealer and were trained on all this blah blah, and yeah see this phone stuff we get trained on it like every week, I said ok well I was looking for a better price or some oil changes, he said well we have these great gift baskets from godiva, i just about wanted to bang my head on his desk.

Thats why we all go to the "stealership" not the dealership. They will tell you anything and everything to make a sale. My dad unfortunately believes what they say over anyone else because "they work for honda". So if the stealership says my moms odyssey has 300HP it magically does. One dealer told us that the escalade has a engine management feature where it disables a row of cylinders so in simple terms it has two engines..

Not with my CIvic... but when I bought my Prelude in 99... I was told the H22A was a V6!!! The sales man told me that was why it had so much power... then I made him pop the hood and count the sprak plug wires. His response was that he was told the Prelude had a V6 in a sales meeting

I bought my '06 with 14K miles last March for $17K with the Honda Care warranty, so I'd say yes. Sorry.

LOL that's funny about the Escalade that he says it actually has two engines.

Actually there are quite a few cars that have that feature. It helps with gas economy when the car is cruising and runs on 4 cylinders instead of 8.

Oh man I have the same situation, I told him I wanted take off my civic badge and the techs ripped off the badge no dental floss and used like a credit card to get off the residue and scrated my paint...I have to polish or something to get it out. They also charged me 240 bucks for a stock si tire, I tried to tell him I can get like a whole set of Si wheels on here for like 400 and he said no they are honda they know best lol

I was test driving a Chevy Duramax in San Bernadino and the sales man was going over the truck saying stuff like "it has 2 batteries so it can pull out more power for towing and uphills".

Si's do not come in Taffeta White, nor do they have an optional navigation system. - Stockton Honda

-Only reason why I didn't get a white Si. Bastard.

Not quite true... the 7th gen Si Sedan and Coupe (in Canada) was a little different from the lower models wherein it had the 127 hp vtec engine instead of the 115 hp engine that was in the rest of the Civics. I have this same engine in my 2005 Acura EL... (it still sucks in auto though...)
