You can be 1 wheel drive in a turn with the Evo. Read some reviews on the AWD system, its unreal. Why do you think an EVO is so badass around a track?

My sales guy was very polite and informative. He got most of his facts/specs correct and was curtious.

However when I went to schedule an oil change I called in and said my meter was on 20% but I was at 5,000 miles and due for an oil change the woman who I assumed was a service manager said I better get in quick because that means I only have 20% of my oil left!! In Volume!! I told her she had to be kidding right and she said no, those cars need oil to run! I told her I would be sure to come right in so they could add some more!! LOL!

actually, 90% of the time you have a word like that, it is foreign and pronounced like that, so i dont think that is a dumb mistake.. when i was at a honda dealer checking out the car for the first time, i asked "how do you pronounce that?", and he got it right, but he was also an si owner and 21 years old, so he was no idiot

He told me the difference between the S and the LE was it had a racing engine from a lotus elise (it is a derivative of that engine...note: a derivative) and it has the same quarter mile as a 911 Carrera S (he told me around 13.2 seconds). When I was looking to purchase the Si, the salesman said there is no performance difference between the Mugen and the standard Si and it would not be worth my while putting in 8 grand for enhancements I can purchase for much cheaper on my own. It all depends on how old you are, and what kind of car you pull up in. My response to dumb ass dealers is to never come back.

somebody i know has a 2007 corolla S, and ive seen his car.. he tried to tell me its a corolla SS and that it has i-vtec, and i said dont you mean corolla S and vvt-i? and he said no, its SS and i-vtec, ill even go check right now.. he came back and said yup its SS and i-vtec.. i tried to tell him that no SS car would have 130hp, and i even sent him a wikipedia article on vtec..

A few Dealerships used to Fill up at the Service station i worked at.. And i was friendly with the guys from the dealerships.. One of the Prep techs told me that the CRV hes filling up was for a elderly lady.. The salesman told her the seats were engineered by NASA.. and there 100% safer then any other seat in a car..

I went into a dealership and a salesman tried to tell me that the VSA was an emergency 4-wheel steering system.

I like how dealers were always telling everyone that their Si's would be in soon once they got in from Japan... (and some still do) when we all know they come from Canada.

My dealer told me he would "cut me a deal" and sell me the HFP suspension kit and install it for $1,179. I thought that was funny.

I work at a dealership... 95% of salesman dont know $hit about cars. I'm like the "Audi" guru at the dealership...cause I love cars... some of those monkeys ask my why I'm driving a civic... ...when I can drive an Audi... alot of them are morons when it comes to tech....they're salesman because of money not cars. If they could make money selling dog$hit in paper bags they would...

That being said... I went to a Honda dealership a few months back when I was hunting for a TW FA5... He took me to an EX... I told him I was looking for an SI...he asked if he put the SI badge and a spoiler for free... would I get the EX?...

please tell me yyour kidding and there isnt a human being alive thats that stupid...

the 7ths where like that though, my mom had a Si and it was a auto? glorified DX is what it was. nothing but the spoiler badges and sunroof seperated it from the other modles. the 8th are one of the only generations where buying a Si gets you something.

Oh i forgot about the SiR, which is what it was called in canada. in the US i think it was just a Si right? here it was a totaly differant car totally unrealated to the civics.

Ok, this isnt a honda dealership but a Subaru Dealership... Ok i went out to test drive an 07 WRX b4 i got my si. After the test drive i asked if they had an STI on the lot. The salesman takes me over to the STI and starts ranting and raving about how fast it is and how much better of a car it is then the WRX. We got on the topic of the WRX being turboed and out of no where he goes and pops the hood of the STI and is like and i quote, "Yea but it will never be as sick as the STI's supercharger"

Also had a used car salesman tell me that the Spec-v would "rape" the new si's... Funny thing is i raced one 3 times beat it 3 times from a 40 roll, 30 roll and once from a dig. No chance...
