you got more value then for a 05... so no....

heres a good one.

You can only "hit" Veetak three times in one day...??? Why sp the flux compaciter can have some time to charge?

Or, you have to wait 3-4 months for your car...

Or, hay your car is here, i get there and they say, sorry they miss shipped its not yours , but we will call you...

then Hay your car is here, ME:, MAKE SURE!!!, them: we chewcked three times. lol

then when i got there it was on the showroom floor and they threw a little party, it was my birthday after all... I actuly call in HaPPY to work., i said, i just picked up my car and i can get depressed today so im not comming in :P

The problem is that a lot of cars salesmen don't know or really care about the products they're selling to go in depth. I've had the same thing with service depts. It seems the younger guys that are car nuts make the best salesmen and service advisors since they share our interest/passion.

I get the funniest things from my service adviser. He always talks to me like I'm some teenager with an Si, when I'm actually 37. I don't care about all the stupid bolt-on mods that add a whopping 3HP to my Si. My service adviser is a dork. Salesmen are in a class all their own.

Well a couple weeks ago I was in the market to buy a used car; I currently drive a '88 Toyota Pickup (4-speed). I was really interested in the EP3's because I was more concerned with better gas mileage and having a hatchback to haul stuff. I got to a stealership and began my interesting adventure:

Me: Hey, I'm interested in this '05 Civic Si. How many miles does this car have?
Douche: 25k miles and it has a CAI! (It actually had 40k miles)
Me: Mind if I take it for a test drive?

As I'm test-driving it, he made no attempt to engage in any conversation with me. As we were pulling back into the stealership he says...

Douche: Nice huh? And these are "Recardo" racing seats. (They were actually the stock EP3 seats).
Me: Well...I like it but it has a couple of scratches and dents.
Douche: Oh we can pop those dents out! Don't worry!
Me: Well, $19k is really too much as well.
Douche: OH!? Now that's offensive to me!
Me: Um...how?
Douche: Well, telling me that something like a Civic SI isn't worth this much is offensive.
Me: Well, this isn't exactly one of the most popular Si's due to it having a less powerful K20 engine.
Douche: IT'S AN SI, IT'S REALLY POWERFUL! THIS IS REALLY OFFENDING!
Me: This cost more than a used RSX Type S and THAT is more powerful.
Douche: Ok ok, how much would you give me for this?
Me: $12k.
Douche: Haha! If I could sell my cars that cheap do you think I would be stuck doing this piece of shit job?

I said I wasn't interested and was about to leave. Then, he came rushing at me...

Douche: Hey hey! If you can get this Civic Si for $12k why did you come here?!
Me: Simple, I'm car shopping. And I have a question for you.
Douche: Yeah..?
Me: With people skills like that, do you ever wonder why people don't buy cars from you and you're stuck in "this piece of shit job"?

The only good thing I got out of that day was that I test drove an EP3. It was ok but it made me realize I didn't want to deal with these used car dealerships and wanted something WORTH it's price. $19k for a car with 40k miles? I don't think so.

I'm awaiting my '08 Taffy White Civic Si coupe.
Thats the shit right there man, exactly what I would have done.

As far as the evo goes, there is no way it can be 100% biased to either end...

Now I would have died laughing....

My salesman's response when asked a technical question "yeah I just started last week, and this is my first individual sale... I honestly don't know the answer to that... I can go ask if you want, but chances are, you probably know more about this car than I do... assuming you've done some level of research"

When I inquired about the 91 Octane.... which really doesn't bother me..... he said that alot of people put in 1/2 a tank of 93 and 1/2 a tank of 89 to make 91..... I don't see the logic in that stupidity and I was going to argue with him.... but next time you see someone at the pump shaking their Si after a fill up.... you will know what they are doing....BTW - I told him he was an idiot (using nicer words of course)...... I told him that my new car deserves 93.......

this logic makes 0 sense... it'd probably cost you the same as just filling up with 91 (unless of course, 91 isn't an option locally to you)

I went to a used a car dealership cause i saw a mustang GT500 on the lot and went to check out the price. I walked around a little and saw a black Lambo Gallardo Convertible. I salesperson walked over and I asked him about the Lambo and he said its $50k OTD. I was like "you gotta be shittin' me...I'll take 2." He said the car had just gotten a new paint job and was beaten to shit. Turned out later on that the guy was just in fact a valet/carwasher and knew absolutely nothing about the car. The real salesman gave me a price tag of $160k
