Service advisor: Sorry, since you have modified suspension, American Honda has voided your warranty on your transmission.

On my last car I had a full out race suspension from Bilstein and Mercedes stated :

"Due to agressive dampening forces of your shocks and the stiffness of your springs, the jarring of the chassis has caused one of your transmission lines to come off therefore we can't pay for the damage."

Me:

So what does the warranty cover?

When I went to buy My SI. The salesman kept telling me how fast the car was. I then told him how i used to have an S2000 so im sure it wont feel that fast to me. The next thing he said was priceless "oh yeah...those have like 350 hp"

Salesman are just too lazy. all they care for is the sale. No homework anymore. they sit around half the day, you would think they would atleast know there own product.

"They haven't even made an 08 with Nav yet. They will be out in June, and only in red and grey. Just get a non-Nav and put an aftermarket one in."

Went to the dealer for cold surging / rev hang and.....3rd gear

1.) They said that the RPM hang and surging at idle could be due to the fact that I have the wrong size tires on my car and that could be throughing off the VSS and the PM (don't know what that is). I have 16" 205 50r tires on it for the winter. Don't really buy that explaination, but this is not a major issue for me.

Wrong size tires....

i dont see how the techs can look you in the face and tell you with a semi-angry face that "you did this".. its hard to tell if they actually believe it, or if they are lying.. what do they get by lying? do they go to their boss and say "hey boss i just denied another one" *slips $10 into pocket*
