SI = good daily car

S2K = good weekend car, absolute crap daily.

Tiny, uncomfortable, real bad in snow/rain, mod scene outrageously expensive. no back seat...ect.

They're quick for the most part. But thats really bout it. And they are very overrated by Honda. A lot of them only put down like 200whp.

I took a S2K out for a test drive. The salesman offered me a really great deal. I still went home in my Si.

Most s2k owners I know love their cars but admit they put down 180-200whp.

my father has an 2002 S2ooo and it is his weekend car, i have the Si sedan , not a great daily driver a true roadster( ruff on uneven roads in bad shape, they will beat you up a little) i think they are kind of like owning a motor cycle fun for a little while but it would get old having to drive in traffic on a day 2 day basis. Also not as much fun when the top has to be up,not a whole lot of visibility. Again ,a great road coarse car, easy to make back end break loose if you are not paying attension. Tires only last about 15k if you drive it regularly 20k if you never get on it( what's the point in owning one if you can't tach it up on a reg. basis) and if tires are mostly worn it is a scary car to drive in rain . It will hydroplain very easily- 2006 and up have VSA so I am not as sure about the hydro effect on those models. Not a great car for the strip(1/4mile) you have to launch way high and it is not good on trany- so to answer question , i recommend the car if you want a true roadster to drive daily, other than that pay for your Si and go lease one for a weekend car or buy one slightly used. P.S. - my Dad bought his when he was single and stated if his date could not fit in the car then she was to big to date. that's one way to eliminate the big girls ......He is Married again and she fits in the car just fine, in case you were wondering. His wife just bought the new 08 Accord V6 2dr (nice) we are a die hard Honda Fans....and my wife drives a 03 CR-v

I went from an S2K to a FA5. A trailer truck took me out and i thought an FA5 would be a practical choice. Anyway I miss my S2K everyday. Best handling car ive ever driven. I drove it daily and it wasnt that bad to drive daily. Im 5'8" and it fit me perfect it felt like the interior was setup perfect for driving. I think in about 4 years when my FA5 is paid off i will see myself back in a S2k with the FA5 as a beater.
