good or bad deal

So I went to the dealership yesterday to look into a 08 SI sedan. to make a long story short the lowest they went with me was 23,500 for a figi blue base with a HFP kit. this is after all tax tags and license. The only problem is they didnt have the color so they said if I was comitted they could order one from a nevada dealership (im in AZ) but there was a 400 transporting fee which I didnt want to pay so they have my number and are gonna call when a figi sedan comes in. then they have a Mugen they were trying to talk me into lol, dont get me wrong its a gorgeous car but I couldnt justifiy paying the 39K they have it listed for. Also I test drove it just for the hell of it and I couldnt really tell a difference suspension wise, maybe a little stiffer but seemed the same. well thx for the input

^ Thats bogus, 39k for a freakin Mugen? Whats so good about those models anyway. Well, Im glad that you're gonna get it transported instead of having to drive over there with a friend to pick it up! Trust me, ive seen it happen before

That seems like a good deal. I am in AZ as well and I payed sticker for my FA5 w/ navi in Dec 06. Taxes for cars in AZ are higher than some other states, so 23,5 OTD w/ HFP is a good deal IMO. What dealership?

they are nice as hell and id love to have one but I just couldnt justify spending 40K on a civic especially just since its just some suspension upgrades and cosmetic.......I cant beleive the engine was left untouched. lets see a mugen si or an EVO/STI which one would I pick lol........I bet though in ten years the mugen is gonna be worth bank

I got my RR FA5 between 27,000 to 28,000 with tax and everything here in West Covina California. It came with 18 HFP's, factory tint, and those splash guards.

Man its weird to read these stories a bout other ppls prices on cars and fees fo shipping cars to other D ships.

39 K For the Mugen in Expensive, I paid 29,135. I know that a lot for ppl. But my trade in was $17,000.

I say go for the fiji at the other d ship dont pay to have them transport it, if they want your business they need to eat the cost of shippin. I didnt pay a single penny for my girls car to be sent to our Honda D ship.

Try my method below. I think you'll be surprised when you find out how much the price changes and how easy it changes when you talk to the right person. Internet/Fleet sales accounts for 1/3 of all dealership sales. They also give you the total price right up front without filling out credit apps. Remember to try different zip codes to increase your exposure to good prices.

How to buy a NEW car (from a former car salesman)
