Help.. buying a civic

im planning to buy a civic. but im choosing between the EX or Si. The problem with the Si is that I might be paying 400 dollars per month which I dont like paying. My down payment is only 2000 dollars.

Can you guys give me ideas on how much you pay for your monthly payment with the Si or EX? and what amount have you payed for the down. Thanks. hope you guys reply.

I say, save up a little more to get a low monthly payment on an Si, dont rush yourself... I have an Ex and want an Si, my car is fully paid but want the Si now.......and leaves me keeping this one and save for the 9th civic to get the Si trim and use the Ex for daily driving

Depends on what insurance you want also? If you get all the insurances like GAP and such, you'll pay approx. 50 more

thanks for the feedbacks. Im decided that I'll just be getting the EX or LX and equip it with the 18" HFP wheels.

Another question, if Im going to add the wheels when I get the car, will it be included with my down payment or do I have to separately pay for the wheels?

Oh yeah, my bad, I also had a trade-in. It's been a year, but I want to say they gave me about a grand trade so the actual sales price of the ride was closer to $17K.... I owe $16K on it now.

Take a look at my ride, it'll give you an idea of what an LX can look like. http://r18civic.tripod.com/

Mods: Si spoiler with brake light, Si Wheels, Si/EX radio steering wheel controls & Auto-dim rear view mirror. The only thing I'm missing is the sunroof...and of course the Si engine.

BTW, anyone can do zero down. It just depends on your credit. More money you put down the lower your payments will be. Also, depending on your credit, lenders may require $$$ down.
