be careful with the $187,975 car!!!

BTW it doesn't have 1000 ft/lbs of torque...it has 1000 Nm of torque which is actually 738 ft-lbs

not complaining at all! Amazing numbers, but you won't ever catch me paying $200k for a car

I've driven it (worked for Mercedes over the summer). It has a cool start up sound. Great launch.

sweet car. My brother raced an SL 55 in his WRX and held up pretty well but i could imagine what an SL 65 would've done. Tell him to trade it to you for your SI.

Read the complaint section of mercedes/benz website, you wont belive your eyes.

My father just got rid of his new Mercedes after 1 month because it spent more time in the service dept than on the road. I hope you have better luck with that one!

12 cyl twin turbo is always fun to say though.

A/c compressor twice, water leaking into the trunk, car cut itself off driving down the highway 1 time, anti-lock brakes failed, paint had defects, and wipers would turn themselves on when it was dry and sunny out for no aparent reason.
Nothing major with the engine itself, but a lot of electrical issues, and power failures which caused him to get rid of it with in 3 months.

yea, mercedes quality has definately gone down over the past three years. the higher end mercedes seem to have less problems than the cheaper models but if you want a quality mercedes put in an order from the factory in germany. thats the best way to go. my gf's dad did that for his new volvo (not germany but still somewhere in europe)
