Is it legal over there? It's illegal here because you can cause damage to your car or anything near it if you accidentally leave it in gear when you use the remote start

Wow, I've never heard of it being illegal. Mine's impossible to have it start in gear. What I have to do is when I pull up to my destination I put on the parking brake and put the car in neutral. Then I turn off the car and take the key out...but the car is still running. I open the door, get out and as soon as I close the door, then engine shuts off, doors lock, alarm arms and the remote start is ready. It forces you to leave the car in the proper state for remote start, kinda cool, but kind of a pain because if I don't plan ahead by shutting the car off right, I don't get to remote start it.

What happens if you live in a cold climate and your house is on an incline? Would you risk not having it in gear? And what's up w/ a cold climate? Is that just so that the owner doesn't have to freeze inside the car while it warms up??

Then you'd have to park on the street and use a proper hill park using the curb in addition to the ebrake. But I don't live on a hill so I don't care. And yep, it just eliminates the need to sit in your car and stare into space while the car warms up. Some people use it in summer with the AC so they can get into a cool car. It's a nice luxury, I sure enjoy it.

I didn't get it yet, so we will see if this is the final OTD price, but after crunching numbers we came up with $24,744.88 OTD for an 08 White Si Navi Sedan with summer tires.

I didn't care for the tires one way or the other, I just want this car.

Sound like a deal?

Build date 12/17. Can't wait to fly up north and drive her home. Broke in before I even get it home.

u can get an MS3 OTD with that price.... i.e if u prefer Mazda, and a firm believer that it has nothing to do with Ford. Secondly, if you wanna be faster than the Si.

Try to shoot for 24K.....and what are u gonna do with summer tires ? its winter now. However, Summer tires is considered a MOD .
