Near Crash...

Last night i went out to have some drinks and there was this dam driver who was playing with me. so i basically left my street and then going to the light so im like almost half way at the light and i see the pedestrian light blinking so i go a bit faster then the residential speed limit, and then theres this white SUV that was already turning as i catch up to him all of a sudden he presses his brake for no dam reason. i didnt really realize it at first cause there was no brake light showing up until i was getting closer and closer i realized he pressed the dam brakes. so i just in my mind i gotta dodge so i wont rear end this guy. as i dodge i ended up hitting the curve. after i hit the curve the guy zooms away from me. what a douche, hate drivers like that. since it was too dark i wasnt sure if there was any damage to my car hopefully i can get some pics up later. but then when i touched my tires and wheels there were scratches on them but couldnt tell how bad they were and then this morning my brother took the car to work. by the way i hit the front passenger side. dunno how serious it will be. you think there will be any problem with my front area while driving? also i would like to know if there is any way to repair the damage done to my si wheels.

When i see it blink I speed up to. A little bit faster can mean the difference between making the light (while its still green or yellow) or stopping. Going 5-10 mph over the speed limit is still safe to do.

Yeah, people like that are asses, but what can you do... I knew people who slam or their brakes to get rear ended to grab insurance money.

Dunno how u confused curve and curb though... twice.

sry to hear about this, post pics and let us kno what was the outcome.

but if it comes down to me stopping and waiting "10 mins" for the light to change. OR speed up and try to make the blinking light as u say. i would rather just stop and wait..

better to be safe then sorry.

Pictures have been uploaded. luckily it was just the wheel that got damaged so im very lucky.. unfortunately the edge of the wheels are pretty dam nasty. any chance if you guys know it can be fixed?

nayilsi- ya thanks man. ive been driving for 3 years but ive only been recently to drive alone and after that incident my brother isnt letting me drive alone anymore.

RiceBowL54- my english isnt that great so i sometimes pronounce words wrong. but then i think you guys understood what i meant though. but ya i didnt wann rear end him cause my car already got hit twice in less then a year and then this would be the 3rd time in a year so i couldnt let it happen.

cypress- pics are uploaded. ya my mom told me that later it would of been better for me to stop then to beat the light. but now i got a bit more street experience since this never happened to me before.

im thinking of getting the 17" HFP wheels and then sell my EX if anyone wants them and then just use the Sis for winter. but i check and the HFP are like around $175 each USD. and i just dont have the money to get them right now, cause i might bring my car in to get it checked. Or i dunno if its possible but for my current si wheels if i can sand them down and just repaint them i would probably do that then to buy a new set of wheels.
