I've been at the dealership a lot lately, so I've been checking with my favorite saleslady about the 2008 coupes. If I remember correctly, they had a few coupes in, but none with leather or navigation. I could be wrong and mistaking them for sedans, however. I do know that they have had several sedans in, from LX all the way up to EX-L.
I got to sit in an EX-L sedan, and let me tell you, I am contemplating putting in an order for a Rallye Red 2008 Civic EX-L coupe w/ 5MT and navi. The leather feels a lot more supple than most compact car entries do, and its heated. SHe told me that the coupes are only a 10% kind of thing, so it'll be middle of next month before they get any in.

yea I went into a honda dealership this afternoon as well to inquire on the 2008 coupes, but they said they dont know when they are expecting any in yet. But I did see this red "F1" civic coupe they had on display with leather seats (black/red) with the si spoiler, rims and it came with a carbon fiber hood.
For the Toronto guys on this board it was at Sisley Honda. |

I have a 08 FPB coupe ordered. It's being made between the 26th and 30th, and my salesman told me it takes about 2 days to deliver it from OH to AZ. I paid 21,195 for it.
I could have gotten a 07 NBP or a RR for around 20,300 but my heart was set on a FBP. There were none in the Phoenix Metro area so I had to wait for the 08's. I'm just wondering how much of a headache the TPMS will give owners with aftermarket wheels. Anyone with prior experience care to chime in? |

918Civic: your car isn't coming from Ohio, all FG coupes are made in Alliston Ontario, Canada.
As far as aftermarket wheels, you'll need to have the TPMS sensors that are in the stock wheels put into your aftermarket wheels, assuming they fit properly. I'm not sure about Civic but in my experience with a Ridgeline if you run without the sensors you will not be able to turn off VSA with the switch. |
