Sun Shade For '07 Civic

Hello,

I am new to 8thcivic. I recently purchased a 2007 Civic Si coupe and absolutely love it. I will formally introduce myself when I take pics. My question is I want to get a sunshade so my shift knob and steering wheel aren't red hot after work. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Go to your local Dollar Store and get one.

You can't do much to keep the heat out of the knob, that I tried. The thing was scorching in the summer and downright frigid in the winter. I sold the thing for $30 and bought a leather round knob.

If you want a sunshade, go to HandAaccessories.com. It's near the bottom of this page: http://www.handaaccessories.com/civint06.html These sunshades are custom to our car, so they'll fit the massive expanse also known as "our windshields".

As far as getting your shift knob to stay cool -- it's a losing battle. You can keep it COOLER by opening up your sunroof a crack, and letting air circulate. Also, put that sunshade up, get tint, and put a sock or something over it.

I got mine at the dealership..made by Intro-Tech it was $25.It fits pretty good. The only thing I hate is that it is so big but since I'm always by myself I just throw it in the backseat
